Cat Pitcher
This cat Pitcher is a great addition to the table. For serving water, juice, sangria, cocktails or mocktails. With the lovely design it both serves function as a pouring vessel and a visual centerpiece at your table. And it has an added bonus of serving as a flower vase.
Each pitcher is formed on the pottery wheel before adding the handle and the spout. Next, the image is created on the mug using an inlay technique to create the fine lines, then it is painted with underglaze watercolor Finally, glaze is applied to the inside and to the image. The bare clay is left in the negative space which gives it a lovely tactile quality.
